I don’t see a stimulated economy coming. I’m not your neighborhood pessimist but the plan put forth by the Obama administration, crafted by Nancy Pelosi and company, is more like a political agenda rather than a stimulus.
I’m perplexed as to how they are blaming the economic situation on President Bush. If you visit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMnSp4qEXNM&NR=1 you will see that President Bush warned of the issues in the housing market and was ignored and scoffed at by Barney Frank (D) and Christopher Dodd (D). How is it possible that this is being ignored? After all, it was the housing market that began the whole economic collapse…then the domino effect: the banking and credit industry, then the automobile manufacturers, etc.
My reason for believing that things aren’t going to get better is because the Democratic Party doesn’t know how to operate the economy any other way than to throw money at bad judgment. They cater to and encourage the entitlement mentality (this keeps them in power). My bigger reason is more controversial, however.
I sincerely believe that we are in the last days before Christ’s return. Call me a fanatic if you will, but anyone who has observed the chain of events from the past 45 years will see an escalation in the signs that He predicted would occur before His return. Not merely a tapered escalation but that which is only depicted by an exponential curve.
The following items have increased upon this absolutely astounding accelerated pace:
Moral decline
Natural disasters
Knowledge and invention
Disease
Racial tension
Conflict in the Middle East, esp. Israel
It would do one well to examine their relationship with the Creator and the plan He designed for their eternal destiny. The days where “a measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny” (Rev. 6:6) are not too far off.
